Oh, but I didn't mind whatsoever! I dream in vivid, lucid detail - I've mentioned that before, but it warrants telling you again. I dream in VIVID, LUCID detail - and there I was...minding my own business, because that's what I do. I am constantly minding my own business and trouble, fun, excitement, call it what you want - it finds me!! It imposes its naked self on me in my dreams...who said I wanted to see that? (She giggles under her breath, teeth slightly biting her lower lip as her eyes continue to look just a bit south of the sink's granite counter!)
He (yes, he...the same he I won't mention outright) was standing in my bathroom - completely, and beautifully, perfectly naked. He was actually washing his face and maybe brushing his teeth. I wasn't watching his face or hands. I was staring just below the waist at his sensual hips and ...well, the rest of his well toned tan lower extremities - smiling. He caught me. He looked in the mirror and suddenly his butt tightened from a little off guard nervousness - his thighs began to move a little, and the back of his neck began to blush just slightly. I smiled again - I do that. I smile a lot. I'm told I have a pyrate's smile actually. Silent and mysteriously mischievious - then the eye brows lift just a little...just a little, because he started to lift a little - oh, she is smiling again....moving in the sheets and questioning him with her eyes: Are you finished brushing your teeth Sir?
Oh, I love dreaming about naked men in my bathroom - not that it happens often enough, but it does happen, and this was - well - nice.
GOOD night Mr. Man.

Hooah! I know how to spell it now!!

HOOAH! I was actually spelling it "hoowa" but no, it's HOOAH! It's an Army thing. My son says it all the time, and his battle buddies - I was actually curious as to the origin of the word, the correct spelling - even if I can't always pronounce it as good as my soldier son does. I'm told I don't have the umph, but - I do have the heart! So, to my son, to the rest of the boys and girls in ACU green and tan - HOOAH! Thanks for being who you are! Thanks for doing what you do! Thanks for being where you are, and thanks for loving me, for loving yourselves, your country, and your mission. I love each of you, and I pray all the time for your wisdom as well as your protection.
I do have ONE warning: Stay away from the swirling sand storm outside of Kuwait City where the three old rivers meet! It's the original site of Eden, and there's an Angel there swinging a sword in all directions - hence the continual storm. Stay as far back as you can.....LOVE TO YOU ALL - HOOAH!

Symphony of Love
Most of my poetry (all of which is originally written) can be nailed down to a time, a place, a face, a thought or a deep and meaningful feeling.
Symphony of Love
Is my voice a symphony
Do I rage with song
When our hearts are melding
Two becoming one
Are your notes of tenor
Forced with breathless thrust
Are the whispering of woodwinds
Leaping from my tongue
Quicken heart! Hold time
Surround the sound - silence
Mewl for no one else to hear
My lover's lips will thunder
Rage, lift up my very soul
In crescendo - rapture!
Deep inside, harmonious tides
Melodies - captured
Songs for only our ears
Sweet in every note
Panting - exhausted refrain
Music is your stroke
Sing sweet lover to me
Your song a kind surrender
Symphonic pleas, submission
Orchestra in motion
Symphony of Love
Is my voice a symphony
Do I rage with song
When our hearts are melding

Are your notes of tenor

Theonopholous - AKA Sam (My Guardian Angel)

Call it what you want, say I'm a bit odd - it's OK, I'm used to it by now. When I was just a kid people said it all the time, and it really hasn't changed much since. It used to bother me a bit, but after a while I realized that if everyone is talking about me - about me talking to my angel Sam, they're either damn jealous that their personal guardian doesn't talk to them, or else, and this is sad - they don't have one.
I met Sam in Heaven actually, way before I was born and way before I was even being considered an add on to the Stringfellow household. I don't remember much about it, as humans we're limited in our before time thoughts, but you know it has to be true - that is if we accept that Heaven is, and that time really isn't all that permanent. I don't know the circumstances of our relationship, how it began, or where exactly we met - but I do know that he's been with me since the very very beginning. My thoughts basically are this: I was born, I knew he was with me, and when I gave my soul to Jesus he was the first to be excited because it meant that the soul he had been assigned to was returning.
Being a Christian isn't about easy 1-2-3 steps of becoming saved and doing good - it's far more than that, and if you believe as I do that souls were living before our earthly (attached) bodies - then it becomes a bit more clear as to how this whole friendship works. Sam is mine. He was assigned to me. He has NO other job. NO other employment. He is my Guardian. I love him for it actually, he's a good one. I named him Sam, God named him something else. I knew this before, but after becoming a human, and being so very young (5 1/2) at the time that I surrendered fully my soul - I simply began calling him by the name I felt was best - Sam.
When I was about 30, sleeping, and really just communing with my friend, he appeared to me fully (very fully, and vastly strong) in a lucid and most beautifully vivid dream. He said to me "Judy, (as he calls me what my mom calls me) my given name is Theonopholous." I thought about it, nodded my head, and continued my conversation - whatever it was..I don't really remember. I do however, remember that I had not been paying the least bit of attention to his size, majesty, grace, or astounding beauty. Sam (Theonopholous) is somewhere between 12 and 15 feet tall. His biceps are larger than my thighs, and his color, his all-around color is stark white. Not pale or weak - no, but marble strong white. He has wings, thick, wide, bright lights really - I've never seen him use them, but merely appears and reappears, he never disappears. Does that make sense? Probably not, but he does. He's one helluva guardian too mind you! I never give him enough credit, not only for holding me back, but for shutting my mouth! Seriously...HE will shut my mouth at times when I would have opened it and caused a fair amount of damage.
I can recall, and often do, some of the times he has literally saved my life. We all have had near-death experiences, and this is something that guardians do. They watch. They protect. Call them the bodyguards if you must, but it really is more of a soul guarding going on. On June 16, 1986 he held me tight in my bed while my house was being robbed - I knew the men were in my home. I could feel, hear, even smell them - my only thoughts were for my infant son Reuben who was just down the hall. There was absolutely NO way to get to him before they could..I cried silently and tried to raise my body to protect him. Sam would NOT allow me to go - instead a wave of warmth overcame my heart and I knew my son would be protected (hidden even) from the men inside my house. Cabinets were opened, drawers fell to the ground, my purse taken, my television thrown to the ground when it proved too heavy to take. I waited, I continued to cry and pray that my son would be safe...I could not move. What I could see was a thin bright light around my head. I wondered if the men could see it's brilliance. Obviously not.
When the door slammed and the men's voices trailed from the window just outside my bedroom I was released by Sam to run down the long hall to my son's room. The illuminated digital clock read 1:13 A.M. I had been in my bed less than four minutes - the whole event so fast. From my son's crib (he was 3 months old) I could very clearly see a thin, vaporous light, white and swirling through the rungs on his bed, circling him, caressing him. I know my son was not a Christian, he was a baby, but his guardian was with him that night - in cooperation with Sam. We were protected. This is just one time - but a date, a moment I cannot live without.
Sam is ALWAYS on my left. YOU are not allowed to stand on my left. No one is - wait, that's not true. Reuben can actually stand on my left. He is the only one. When someone does venture to this side of me, they almost always retreat - easily, on their own, to my right. Some have even mentioned knowing a presence was responsible for moving them. My best friend Jeannie likes to push Sam around at times. She'll grab me on the left side, and hug me, walking with me and all the while laughing at Sam, but even she - after a second or two will move. Sam's rather large. He does give in to Reuben, which is interestingly strange....but is it?
So, to Sam - I lift my voice in praise, asking God to bless him, to continue his long and unchangeable life. I do not, I will not worship him. I worship ONLY my God and Savior Jesus Christ, but for Sam, for my very dear and courageous friend - I say thank you Lord for this gift.
I also, from my heart, pray that you meet up with your angel personally too.

Quando, Quando!
"Every moment's a day - Every day seems like a lifetime."
Quando - Tell me when.
Great dreams my friends. Sometimes I feel like staying a sleep and never facing the day. The day, by the way, is going great guns too. I'm not in any legal troubles, I have my daily bread, family, love, fun, and even a little excitement - but the nights....Quando, tell me when. (You gotta love Michael Buble' - although, I will be honest, he's not my Quando.)
Little observations of the day yesterday - nothing too terribly exciting. I took a former student to the Zoo because he wanted to play hookie and I didn't want him alone running the streets on the side of town that he lives on. Being a former teacher, I decided to take him to a little tech school too so he could think about signing up next year when he's a junior - make something really great of himself. He's very very talented in the world of art and design. No better profession than graphic arts for a pen/paper and paint man. The Zoo is such a beautiful place to walk and to subject your senses to. Nothing smells quite the same on the Earth.
I noticed also while watching CSI-NY, that the Montana girl Lindsay used Mac Taylor's badge when she flashed it. Mac's badge went through Hell last season when it was on his person when he was inside a building that was blown up. The badge's shield was nearly complete, and we saw the number (not for the first time) as being #8433. So, what was Miss Montana doing with Mac's shield? If memory serves me he was suppose to be out with the M.E. Peyton the night before! OOPS....well, maybe the little British sprite doesn't have the leather-braiding callouses you'll find on Lindsay's strong and feminine hands...Oh, Mac, you shock me!
Let me see - I also noticed yesterday that Carlos Rossi makes a fairly decent wine; even with a screw top! I bought a bottle to make a batch or two of cannolis and there I was....drinking the fruits just for the hell of it. Yes, a good wine indeed. Hey, Montana - show me one of your whips girl, I have a little thought process going on. (Oklahoma girls know their way around the inside of a barn too!)
Oh, did I say that outloud?

Love is a Rock (poetry flowing tonight)
Love is a Rock
Found on a path not so very odd
Routine in fact, just a step along the way
I found love - much like a rock,
under foot
Though not expected - felt really
Carefreely choosen, taken up
Carried near my heart's wing
Examined now and then again
Mulled over for a reason:
why I found it at all
Something held my gaze to it
Something not quite clear
Just a rock I told myself
Nothing more than stone
Or is it?
Love - like rock - is solid
Love holds its own through all
Failing not to be the rock - failing nothing
Because it merely is - What it is
Nothing changes love, not time
Nothing makes it different
Rock is rock, as love is love
Never to be a rose, a dream -
A mere feeling
A rock - love - never changes
It is - because it is.
Made to be what it will be
Created for a purpose
To remain - always (the same)

Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish!
WHAT IS IN A NAME? Wow! My very famous 2nd cousin has a name that's (in my opinion) one of the strongest and longest names out there! Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish. The only part of his name that I can't quite put my head around at this point is the Tuskahoma, but I'm sure his daddy or his mom had a reason for it. He was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma - 1925, just 18 years following Theodore Roosevelt's declaration of Oklahoma Territory's merging with Indian Territory to make the great state of Oklahoma (#46 out of 50) on November 16, 1907.
Calvin was always known as Buster McLish, so when you ask someone about him in the golden years of baseball they are just as likely to say Buster rather than Cal. (and you thought Ripkin was the first Cal!) Well, to be perfectly honest with you, I have been very negligent in meeting my world famous and most handsome cousin - and in doing so I have completely missed out of some great years of talking. The boy can talk! His beautiful wife of nearly 57 years is Ruthie, a glamorous and energetic woman who still to this day dotes on her honey-man, never missing an opportunity to squeeze in a little kiss or hug.
Something REALLY cool that I discovered today, besides taking in all the memoriabilia of his fabulous professional baseball career - is that my 2nd cousin is a poet, just like me! He and I even have the very same writing style; writing in structured stanza form more often than not, and having 4 lines per stanza for about 10-14 stanzas. Who knew? Some of his works are quite personal, and I had to tease him a little about it - I'm going to see if I can talk him into publishing his works in a bonafide book for the sake of prosperity...he's great.
His mom is my grandpa's sister. He was raised just far enough away from my mother Becky to be too far to visit. He was just enough older than she too, it was just the amount of distance necessary to keep them from being too close as she was growing up - however, she did enjoy telling everyone who her famous cousin was because he was always being written about, talked about, and when television came onto the scene his games were televised and he was personally interviewed. Keith Olbermann will certainly know who my sweet cousin is - I hope you will take the time to look up a few stats about him for yourself. Not too many players can say they've been where he's been, played with legends the way he has, and actually, he's too modest to say it, but he was pretty damn good himself.
Love to Buster and Ruthie! (and Gracie, their poor sweet little dog who had to put up with Faith being in HER house this morning.)

Dreaming about Driving Over People Who Piss Me Off
Last night was a good night. When I dream about driving semi-tractor trailers I know I'm actually behind the wheel of my own destiny. That's what driving a tractor-trailer means when you're actually dreaming about driving one. So, there I was at the mall - I had driven my car. I parked in the rear by a backdoor. I walked in and a kid about 19-20 years old asked me what I was driving. I knew the kid, he was one of my old students. I also knew he liked to mess with cars and break their windows. I told him I wouldn't tell him what I was driving - "You don't get it Ms. Stringfellow", he said "I don't want my buddies messin' with your car!" So I told him. Well, I come out of the mall and the front windshield was smashed in, the back doors open, the trunk open, but whatever was in my trunk was still there...it was too large for them to take it out. I started the engine and began to drive the car out of the parking lot.
That's when the car became a semi-truck with a 53' yellow trailer. Cars seem to change inmy dreams all the time. Sometimes I'm driving a cardboard box and it turns into a dog or something. So, there I was (now) driving my semi when I saw the boys I knew were smashing random windows. I slowed the big rig down to about 5 mph and slowly, ever so deliberately RIGHT OVER THEIR BODIES...they didn't die. They were flat like in cartoons. I got out of my truck and scooped them up with a paint brush (must have been in my back pocket) and I threw them into the trailer.
I pulled into a house, INTO a house, and I delivered the boys. I think there were 4 of them. The father was thanking me, but he reached out his hand to shake mine and the trailer on my truck sprouted yellow hands and offered his/her hand instead! Yes, the truck shook the hand of the father of the boys. I had to laugh...."I'm dreaming" I told him, the father...he nodded as if he understood and I skipped off down the road with a little white toad that just happened to be in my path.
Me and toad...we left the scene. Great dream!

Made a Few Changes
If for any reason you have been reading my daily, or almost daily blog, and you thought you were reading into my heart, my mind, my soul regarding how I feel about a certain man - you may have been. I decided to make a change. I deleted those blogs and I won't be writing them again. I've decided to keep it a little closer to my heart. For now anyway. Thanks for your prayers and love.

American Airlines Lost My Dog Faith
Wow! If I even began to try and tell you all that was going through my head it would take several blogs. I can't begin. So, go to my website and read the latest news articles - or by the time you read this they may be older. I'll be safe in saying you can google the information on line. Just type in "American Airlines Loses Faith the Dog" and you'll see the hundreds of blogs and stories about it. I was so scared for several hours that I became sick to my stomach. I ate very little at the restaurant when American gave me a voucher to do so. I was hurt that they were so careless, but tried to be optimistic...afterall, her entire story is about having FAITH! I couldn't possibly give up hope. I prayed and I prayed. As I was actually talking to God I was overwhelmed with a warm feeling that it was all going to be OK. It took a few hours longer, but she was finally delivered from wherever it was that they shipped her to, and she was happy to see me. She was very stressed, anxious, excited, and she was exhausted when we made it to the hotel. She just collapsed and slept 10 hours straight through.
It was hard to forgive American Airlines, but I have forgiven...but I am not willing to forget. They will have to bend over backwards and even do a few flips to impress me now. I'll let my attorney Anita F. Sanders handle it, she's a great lawyer and will know exactly what to do for the business end of Faith - Faith is a multi-purpose dog. She's a family pet of course, but she does have a potential earning power as well - there's no getting around it. She is going to be in movies, do shows, and be seen by millions very soon. She is loved of course, we do spoil the dickens out of her daily - and we expect her to be as happy as she has always been. We give her everything she could ever ever ever want, and she gives back even more!
Thanks to EVERYONE who prayed and hoped for her return and those of you who wished us well, and talked to us in the airports, the stores, the restaurants! We thank you all. You are all so very very kind - oh, and yes, there was one woman who said I was cruel, nasty and mean for letting her live in the first place, but I just said a little prayer for her, and I hope she gets over her fatalistic depressive attitude soon. Afterall, Faith is just too wonderful to even consider being without! She's a miracle and thank JESUS she is mine. (But I'll share! LOL)
