YEA!!! St. Patrick's Day!!

I was so excited the other day when I went into a certain store that routinely carries t-shirts at an extremely cheap price for most seasonal holidays. I went straight over to the GREEN t-shirts, as St. Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays. No, no, no, it's not my favorite day because Gary Sinise was born on this day, get that out of your head! C'mon, I do love the man, yes, and it's an added bonus that he was born green, but the real reason I love St. Patty's day is because my first born was DUE on this day, it didn't happen but it gave me something to look forward to - - he came on the 22nd to honor me (I was born November 22, his grandfather April 22, my bestie Jeannie was born June 22, and he wanted to be a part of that great building number doubled with integrity I suppose) I bought 4 t-shirts immediately, 1 large, 2 medium, and 1 small - - as my little brat Caity is still a imp and refuses to grow bones and flesh like the rest of us. WHERE did she come from?

Reuben is part Irish so he got the "Kiss me I'm Irish" shirt, my cute little shirt simple and white with a 70's style green collar very simply says "Lucky Shirt" in Kelly Green (Hi Kelly! Happy Patty's Day!) But why am I telling you this? Oh, I remember - St. Patrick's Day is the one day I can pinch people I really want to pinch and flirt all day long; laughing, telling stories, drinking green beer (and now I can do that with my son!) and sing Irish songs, dance, and do all things Celtic in the name of St. Patrick -- sometimes we even bring our pet snakes with us so that we can actually celebrate the true St. Patrick and show off how smart we are for actually knowing what St. Patrick did for Ireland! LOL

The pinching began early too - - Caity first. She had forgotten the #1 rule about St. Patrick's Day: it starts at MIDNIGHT! I got her good, then threw her the shirt! One down a 1,000 to go! To be honest I get more excited about the flirting, the dancing, the telling of jokes, and the friendship mingling (my house at 7P) than anything else. FUN TIMES.

GOOGLE totally got into it. Look at their moniker today!! SO pretty, so Irish, so Celtic, so GREEN...gotta love it. Oh, and the woman in the picture, the pretty one - - not me! Nope, nope, not me. She's from www.buycostumes.com and I am thinking about tracking that just as soon as I can - - OH, OK OK OK....one last mention of Gary before I go; Happy Birthday Mr. Sinise. Double Nickel! Did you ever think you would make that? Well, you're still very pretty...Happy Birthday!

To the others wearing GREEN today -- THANK YOU - - Go Army!!! (The good looking "soldier" in this picture is none other than Writer/Director Jake Rademacher. He's fantabulous and a bit Irish I think - - he was born in March! (26th) Happy St. Patrick's Day to the world, to the men and women defending us, and to my little boy - - most of the green drained out of him as he was actually born on the 22nd, but the emeralds of his eyes shine brightly - - a bit mischievously today, and I think he gets that from his mother's side of the family!

GREEN BEER FOR EVERYONE.....and if you're under aged - - go to Ireland for it because it ain't happening at my house!
